Serena And The Little Blue Dog

This is Rosemary Clunie’s first children’s book.

And what a lovely book it is.

When Serena meets the little blue dog, she names him Haiku, and they become best of friends. But one day Haiku grows too big for Serena and her cottage in the woods.

Together they travel to the edge of the forest, past fields of sunflowers and bright lakes to visit the green mountain bird, the red snake and the yellow fish.

But it is the blue lady, who can help Serena find the answer.

What a beautiful book, it’s well written.

This is perfect for children/families that enjoy nature and being outside, families that enjoy going to places like museums. Equality is also explored in this book.

Children will develop early learning skills such as counting, remembering objects and learning colours,

Throughout this book the children will marvel at the art work.

A truly lovely book.
