Happy Publication Day – 2nd April 2020

Given that we are currently in lockdown, book shops are closed, public libraries are shut, and book launch events are not possible either, it falls upon social media to promote books that are currently publishing and I want to play my part in making people aware of the fantastic books now available, especially as reading is being promoted by schools as part of home learning, and children have reading targets to achieve. What better way than with a brand new publication by one of your child’s favourite authors, or in a series they have been enjoying, a genre they are fans of, or just because the blurb on the back would have hooked them in!

There are a lot of books celebrating making their way into the world today – 2nd April, and whilst this list is not a reflection of the entirety of them it is instead a list of those I will be featuring on my blog over the next few days as I review them as a parent, librarian, and book blogger – and as someone who wants to celebrate the publication of these brand new books that I will definitely be stocking in my school library when we return, and have enjoyed making my own children aware of and sharing with them. Happy Book Birthday All!
